Awareness Month

Awareness Month

In May 2026, we will be once again raising awareness of coeliac disease by sharing real stories and empowering those affected by coeliac disease to recognise the symptoms, take our online self-assessment, and take the first step on the road to recovery.

Coeliac disease is a serious autoimmune condition that affects 1 in 100 people in the UK. Only 36% are medically diagnosed, meaning there are an estimated 500,000 people living in the UK who are experiencing symptoms – and these symptoms are having a big impact on their lives.

Our mission is to find the estimated 500,000 living with undiagnosed coeliac disease and guide them on the road to recovery.
