Our Policy and Campaigns Work
Creating change is at the heart of what we do. We campaign to improve the lives of those who need to live gluten free, whether due to coeliac disease or another medical condition. We raise awareness, challenge barriers, and fight for better support, access, and understanding for everyone affected by coeliac disease.
Our mission
We fight to influence governments, healthcare professionals, businesses, and the public to create a better life for everyone who must live gluten free, every day.
Our cost of living campaign
We are on a mission to make gluten free food more affordable and accessible. Our aim is to highlight the additional challenges faced by the coeliac community and avoid a cost of living crisis becoming a future health crisis.
Your voice in Parliament
We work with the Governments and Parliaments across the UK to ensure that the voices of people with coeliac disease are heard in the corridors of power.
Coeliac Awareness Month
We work to raise awareness of coeliac disease, its symptoms and its challenges through creative campaigning, working with our members, stakeholders and partners in the media so that more people can get the diagnosis they need and the support they deserve.
Our Young Champions are leading the fight for a better future for everyone with coeliac disease
If your family is a member of Coeliac UK, then you can receive a Young Champions pack through the post for FREE. The pack has lots of information and activities that you can share with your friends, teacher and club leaders, to help them understand more about coeliac disease and support you better.
Sharing your story is a powerful way to raise awareness and connect with others who may be going through similar experiences
By sharing real stories, we can reach those who may be facing similar challenges and need our support. Personal experiences are vital in raising awareness of coeliac disease and the realities of living gluten free.
Your story could have a lasting impact, just by sharing it, you could help raise awareness and support someone on their journey to diagnosis.
