Leading the way on the ‘Journey to a Cure’

World-leading experts from the immunology, neurology and gastroenterology arenas have been supporting us at the recent Coeliac UK Research Summit, with their input helping to shape our next research call this summer. Funds will be made available from the Coeliac UK Research Fund.

In February 2022, we re-launched the Coeliac UK Research Fund, raising funds towards research projects in coeliac disease and gluten related disorders. We’ve had a great response from the community to our ‘Journey to a Cure’ appeal, with over £75,000 raised.

Previous projects supported through the Research Fund have included a project aiming to achieve better gluten free bread by using new or improved ingredients or looking at an AI solution for the diagnosis and assessment of biopsies.
