You’ll be running between Newcastle upon Tyne and the stunning coastline of South Shields. With around 57,000 participants, this is your chance to run in the second largest half marathon in the world and raise funds to support those affected by coeliac disease.

Got your own place in the event? If you are lucky enough to secure your own place through the Great North Run 2026 ballot, we'd love for you to join TeamCoeliacUK! There is no minimum fundraising commitment, we would only ask you to raise what you can. Plus, as part of Team Coeliac UK, you'll get the same great support as our charity place runners.
