The Daily Express has today published a piece on mountaineer Joe Simpson’s story of being diagnosed with coeliac disease.

The piece highlights Joe’s initial struggle to obtain a diagnosis of coeliac disease and accurately describes coeliac disease as an autoimmune condition, as well as highlighting the problem with underdiagnosis.
