Chair of Coeliac UK’s Health Advisory Council, Professor David Sanders

Chair of Coeliac UK’s Health Advisory Council, Professor David Sanders, to receive medal for research into coeliac disease

Professor David S Sanders, Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital & the University of Sheffield is the Chair of Coeliac UK’s Health Advisory Council and has been awarded the Cuthbertson medal.

File 10340This prestigious award is for excellence in Clinical Nutrition and research which provides an evidence base for clinical practice. Professor Sanders will receive his award during the British Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN) conference in November and will deliver a lecture during the conference too.

Professor Sanders is renowned for his work in coeliac disease and we are really pleased to see him recognised for it.
