We have been in further discussions with Genius to highlight our concerns around the additional product recall yesterday which concerned Tesco and Sainsbury’s own brand products which were manufactured in the same Genius factory that produced the first batch of recalled products.
Genius has assured us the situation has now been contained and robust investigations are underway. From the discussion, we feel reassured that the levels of gluten detected in the products do not pose a long term risk to health. We will be continuing our conversations with Genius to monitor their progress and will continue to keep you informed of any developments.
