Supporting diagnosis of coeliac disease in your patients

Access the new joint British Dietetic Association and Coeliac UK short course.

With the launch of the Coeliac UK campaign, ‘Is it coeliac disease?’ which aims to make a step change in diagnosis rates of coeliac disease across the UK, Coeliac UK has worked with the British Dietetic Association in developing an online short course ‘Coeliac disease: Getting the diagnosis right‘.

We would encourage all dietitians to complete the course, which looks at current research and evidence based guidelines to support recognition and assessment of coeliac disease and to support your patients in getting the right diagnosis.

We realise it is not always possible to attend full day courses. We want to support training of dietitians in a number of ways and to develop this area of bite size learning. Moving forward we will be working with the British Dietetic Association in developing further short courses on coeliac disease to support dietetic training.
